Midwest Overland Industries ZR2 winch mount is for the owner who wants to keep added weight to a minimum and is happy with the factory front end protection. This mount consists of 2 main parts which are the winch mount and your choice of a roller fairlead adapter for steel line or our custom fairlead for synthetic line.  Cutting of the front bumper is required but is easily covered up with the factory front plate holder if plans change. The radiator air ducts can either be removed or cut to allow room for winch mount. Any winch that is 24.5" or less and 7" from center of mounting hole to side of winch should have no issue with fitting, but we recommend choosing a winch with a remote mount control box in case vertical clearance is an issue. Our optional front plate mount with thumb screws for quick release makes a great option for those who are required to run a front plate. Shipping included to the lower 48.  Please contact us for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

This mount it super strong and super clean. You can fit a rough country 12k winch. Don’t forget to read the instructions! I will be back for the bull bar!

ZR2 winch mount

Well made and thoughtfully designed mount for a hidden winch installation. I recommend chasing all threaded holes with a tap prior to installation, and use grease or anti-seize on all stainless hardware, as it likes to gall. Installation instructions are pretty clear, but could use some clarification regarding the trimming of the plastic grille support in front of the radiator. I removed the entire lower section of mine, leaving the lower row of fastener holes. I considered leaving it off entirely, but then the grille loses 4 critical anchors. Overall, highly recommend this mount!

Great product, fast delivery, and easy install. Only thing I would suggest is chasing the holes with a tap when you receive it, mine was full of paint or powder, and could not get the screws in for plate mount. Had to clean the threaded holes out. Haven't tested it out yet, but all seems to be good!

Excellent Lightweight Zr2 Winch / Pull Bar

There is no lighter solution to add a winch and bull bar. The install was easy, customizable to fit my needs and very light. when every pound matters go with this setup.

By far the best fitting winch mount I have ever installed, excellent instructions with pictures. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a ZR2 who wants a winch but doesn’t want to go with a full bumper.
